Ritmiko Privacy.
Your library stays on your device. The services used by online features and the information they process are explained below.
Playlists, favourites, downloads.
Content, ads, analytics, notifications.
Information stored on your device
Playlists, favourites, library information, and app preferences are stored on your device. Downloaded audio and video files are saved to device storage. You do not need to create an account to use your Ritmiko library.
Usage information
Usage information, such as searches, playback, favourites, and downloads completing or failing, is recorded to improve the app and investigate problems. Search records may also include your search terms. Some personal information is filtered out, but not every type can be identified; avoid entering personal or sensitive information in search. Device and app information, along with identifiers that distinguish an app installation, may also be processed by these services.
Advertising
Ritmiko contains ads. IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and technical information used to investigate problems may be processed to deliver ads, measure interactions, and prevent abuse. Consent choices depend on your region. When available in the app, privacy options let you revisit your advertising preferences.
Notifications
A notification identifier associated with your device helps notifications reach the right device. You may receive general announcements and notifications in your chosen language. Disable notifications in device settings; doing so may not immediately delete an existing notification identifier.
Online content and permissions
Search, content information, lyrics, online playback, and downloads send network requests to the relevant content services. These services may receive your IP address and information included in the request. Media or storage permissions provide access to device files. Notifications and background services support playback, downloads, and notifications. Permission requirements vary by Android version.
Retention, deletion, and backup
Remove local app data by clearing app storage. Downloads saved in shared storage may need to be deleted separately. If device backup is enabled, some app data may be backed up; manage this in your device backup settings. Records processed by external services are retained according to their settings and privacy terms. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete every record previously processed by those services.
Your choices and contact
Manage device permissions, notifications, backups, and advertising identifier preferences in Android settings. Send access, correction, or deletion requests to the contact address below. Requests are assessed against data the developer can access; some service data may require the relevant provider’s processes. Messages and contact details you send by email are used to respond to your request.
